Meet Londie Ncube

Londie, born in Zimbabwe and currently living between London and Cambridge, has spent over a decade shaping conversations around fashion, individuality and modern femininity.
With experience working at Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, Dazed Online, i-D and Refinery29, her creative voice continues to champion self-expression and style with substance. Now also navigating motherhood, Londie’s love for fashion and playing dress-up remains as strong as ever.

Where do you get most of your style inspiration from?

I always say my style is a form of self-expression, so a lot of it comes from what resonates within. Otherwise it's through culture, music and travel. I love looking through vintage photos of African women, 90s runway and editorials. I have a lot of moodboards!

Who is one of your biggest style icons?

There’s a lot of icons like Grace Jones and Eartha Kitt that embodied their style expression in such an inspiring way. Then in modern day, for me, that would be someone like Solange Knowles or Adwoa Aboah who I think do the same.

What is your biggest style tip for the season ahead?

I would say to try to shop in your own wardrobe and have fun with layering and accessorising. We’re moving back into a space with fashion where getting dressed is about personality again.
(Style tip: Try layering with our accessories collection or explore scarves and wraps for fresh styling combinations.)

What is your favourite TBCo product to style, and how do you like to wear it?

The triangle scarf of course! I love wearing it styled around my hair, especially in winter because it keeps me warm which is an added bonus. It also encourages me to play with colour combos when I get dressed.

What style ideas or trends do you see emerging for the season ahead?

I would definitely say there’s something exciting about clothes again on the horizon. Having fun with fashion and embracing your personal style.

What is a classic piece or concept in fashion that never goes out of style?

Being comfortable!

What city around the world do you think has the best style?

London for sure. In the best parts of the city no one is dressed the same. It’s refreshing that still exists in our world.

What accessory or piece do you think has the biggest impact when it comes to elevating an outfit?

I would say a hat for sure.

Style is about self-expression and creativity—how would you describe your personal style in three words?

I can never answer this question but if I had to it would be expressive, playful and evolving.

What is your most cherished item in your wardrobe, and why does it mean so much to you?

Probably a vintage leather brown jacket that used to be my mama’s. It’s had such a long life and is the definition of timeless. I look forward to passing it down to my daughter.

Style can be full of joy

Londie’s approach to fashion is a refreshing reminder that style can be intentional, rooted in culture and full of joy. Whether you’re reimagining pieces you already own or adding a new layer to your look, her words invite us all to experiment with confidence and creativity.
